JROTC's mission statement is "To motivate young people to become better citizens." Great Falls High School Army JROTC works to do just that, motivating young cadets to learn and uphold the Army values: Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity and Personal Courage.
Chester Organizational Day
On Saturday, September 12, 2015, the Great Falls High School JROTC competed in the fifth annual Civil Rivalry at Chester High School against Chester High School and Lewisville High School. The three schools competed in drill, races, muscular endurance, egg and balloon tosses, and corn hole. Out of these events, Great Falls won six of them. The overall winner of this year’s competition was Great Falls, who got a total of 56 points. They had 6 more points than Chester and Lewisville who tied with 46.
It is the first weeks of school and people have been getting back into the school flow. We have some new LET 1 cadets learning how the program works. We have various field trips and events planned throughout the school year including Organizational Day, Homecoming, Chimney Rock, and a lot more. It is time for students to start cracking the books open and getting some amazing grades.
Good luck and work hard, to everyone in the Great Falls High School Corps of Cadets!
Our LET 2 class has already begun instruction led by the Junior class.
